Jonathan Maryniuk serves as Associate Counsel.

Jonathan has experience in serving estate, construction, and corporate clients, as well as charities and not-for-profit organizations. He has appeared in a variety of litigation matters before the Supreme Court of Canada, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the British Columbia Supreme Court, and the Provincial Court.  He has appeared as counsel before numerous administrative tribunals.

Jonathan is a contributing author to the CanLII Manual to British Columbia Civil Litigation, which was awarded with the Hugh Lawford Award for Excellence in Legal Publishing.

Jonathan has performed legal research, written legal memorandums, and drafted pleadings and arguments to support many diverse and complex litigation and corporate matters, as well as drafted wills, contracts, leases, and other documents.

During law school, Jonathan was an editor at the Alberta Law Review and awarded the BLG Research Fellowship. He assisted Professor S. Penney with research in the field of criminal procedure and privacy law, including his book Criminal Procedure in Canada.

Jonathan enjoys cooking European cuisine, making the best chocolate chip cookies in the office, touring used bookstores, and traveling.
