John is a partner with Kuhn LLP and has been with the firm since his call to the British Columbia bar in 2017.

John’s broad solicitor’s practice covers all aspects of real estate law, including land development, residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial leasing, and preparing sales contracts. He also represents clients in matters relating to commercial acquisitions and sales, corporate law, and charity law. John regularly assists clients in a variety of estate planning matters including wills, powers of attorney, and trusts.

During his time at law school John was the recipient of several academic awards, including course prizes in evidence law, comparative law, and legal perspectives. Prior to law school John studied at Trinity Western University and had the opportunity to play volleyball on the varsity team and with Canada’s U23 team at the Pan American Cup.

John is a board member with Communitas Supportive Care Society, currently serving as vice-chair. He lives in Chilliwack with his lovely wife and their three daughters. During his spare time John enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
